“The Challenge” star Dee Nguyen is looking into pursuing legal action against MTV after the network fired her for insensitive comments she made about Black Lives Matter, Page Six can confirm.

“An Australian firm with renowned entertainment lawyer Matthew McCormick has been appointed to review the current situation under consultation by BLVK Management,” Nguyen’s Australian rep, Joseph Lamanna, exclusively told us Wednesday.

A lawsuit has not yet been filed, but Lamanna said BLVK hired McCormick to “have a look at all aspects of the case” and “in due course, a further statement will be made.”

MTV could not be reached for comment.

Despite contemplating suing the network, Nguyen, 27, has shown remorse for her remarks.

On Wednesday, she issued an apology to MTV, her fellow castmates, and Bunim/Murray, the production company behind “The Challenge,” in a statement to Page Six.

“I want to sincerely apologize to my fellow cast members, the production crew at Bunin-Murray and staff at MTV for my choice of words and actions in the most recent events,” the reality star said. “What was stated wasn’t meant to be hurtful or discriminatory in any matter, it was a knee jerk of a reaction and it’s certainly not the way that I feel nor what I meant. I would love to take it back. But it is out there and to set to record straight, racial intolerance is intolerable and unacceptable.”

The Vietnamese-Australian added, “Having had to deal with racism my entire life, ironically through all this, there is a warm feeling I have with the fact that humans are standing together to call out unacceptable comments and behaviors that in the past were rarely called on. Again we are shown that you can be judged in a second on all social media platforms.”

Nguyen’s team added in a separate statement to Page Six that they “stand strong behind” the reality star.

BLVK said: “Our team is as shocked as you could imagine and would like to affirm that BLVK does not tolerate any form of racism what so ever we also have an obligation and duty to our clients to ensure their voices are heard and if any of them have made a mistake allow them to have the opportunity to fix it or clarify it — we are working on this as we speak and ask for some patience  before any further decision is made.”

Nguyen was fired on Tuesday after she received backlash from fellow “Challenge” cast members and fans about comments she made on her Instagram in response to a #BlackoutTuesday post.

A fan slammed the Australian reality star for posting a black box, claiming she just “went about your day and posting lame ass thirst traps” afterward.

“People die every f–king day,” Nguyen responded. “U don’t know me or what I do. I suggest you wake the f–k up and get off social media.” She then added, “IDK why some of you think I’m anti-BLM. I’ve been saying that since the day I lost my virginity.”

Co-star Bayleigh Dayton, who is black, bashed Nguyen, saying, “THIS IS NOT HOW YOU SUPPORT BLM. I’m disgusted and disappointed. THIS IS NOT A TREND. THIS IS LIFE OR DEATH FOR US. Posting for clout about the death of black people? Shame on you.”

Another black cast member, Tula “Big T” Fazakerley, said she was “not surprised” by Nguyen’s comments given a conversation they allegedly had while filming in Prague.

Fazakerley alleged Nguyen said she felt “blacker” than her because she hadn’t seen Fazakerley “fight or be aggressive.”

“I felt like she was trying to make me fit her idea of a stereotype,” Fazakerley added.

In a statement posted to the reality show’s official Twitter account on Tuesday, MTV said, “As a result of Dee Nguyen’s offensive comments on the Black Lives Matter movement, we have severed ties with her. Out of respect for our Challengers, we’ll air our season as planned. We strongly condemn systemic racism and stand with those raising their voices against injustice.”

Nguyen kicked off her reality TV career as a cast member on the UK’s “Geordie Shore.” She has competed on three seasons of “The Challenge,” including, “War of the Worlds,” “War of the Worlds 2” and “Total Madness.”
