The “Tonight Show” host voiced his support for the campaign, which advocates against violence and racism toward black people, less than a week after an old sketch of him in blackface went viral.

“This is not just black people protesting,” Fallon, 45, tweeted to his 51.9 million followers on Saturday amid the protests in response to George Floyd’s death in police custody.

“All races have had enough of the abuse of black lives. Things must change. Everyone of us needs to be the change for good. #BeTheChange #BLACK_LIVES_MATTER.”

Last week, the comedian came under fire after a “Saturday Night Live” clip from 2000 of him impersonating Chris Rock in blackface resurfaced. “#JimmyFallonIsOverParty” began trending on Twitter.

Fallon immediately issued an apology, saying he had made a “terrible decision.”

“There is no excuse for this,” he added. “I am very sorry for making this unquestionably offensive decision and thank all of you for holding me accountable.”

Although some called for Fallon to be “cancelled,” others — including Jamie Foxx — came to his defense.

“He was doing an impression of chris rock,” Foxx, 52, commented on E! News’ Instagram post. “It wasn’t black face. We comedians I know it’s a tough time right now. But this one is a stretch. On a show called in living color we played every race Let this one go. We got bigger fish to fry … #changecourse.”
