The parents of a man who OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney is accused of killing said on Sunday that she should go to prison for the rest of her life.
The lawyer for Christian Obumseli's family told TMZ that Obumseli's parents are glad the 25-year-old model, who goes by the name Courtney Tailor on social media, was charged with second-degree murder.
The family's faith in the justice system was restored when Clenney was finally charged, almost four months after she stabbed Obumseil, 27, in the chest.
On April 3, the stabbing happened during a fight in their high-end apartment building in Miami's Edgewater neighborhood.
Frank Prieto, Clenney's lawyer, says that she acted in self-defense when Obumseil attacked her after he had been following her for a few weeks.
Prieto said that Obumseil grabbed the Instagram star by the throat and forced her to stab him. He said that they had been dating for less than two years and that their relationship was "tumultuous."
Prieto said that Obumseil was the partner who was being abusive.
Handfield had asked the police to look into it again. He told the Miami Herald that police had been to the couple's home at least four times for domestic problems. He also said that Obumseli was never arrested or charged.
