The 22-year-old caused an uproar last week when OnlyFans — the NSFW platform that reportedly crashed when the social-media star joined — hyped her record-breaking $2 million payday. The backlash intensified when OnlyFans announced new restrictions, including capping fan tips at $100 and pay-per-view post charges at $50, and in some countries, extending the waiting period to transfer funds from the site to a bank account to 30 days. OF veterans put the blame at Thorne’s feet.

“You scammed people, which in return made us look like scammers and not the hard working people we are,” wrote one ticked off sex worker.

OF veterans also accused Thorne of tricking paying customers by offering a $200 nude picture for purchase via the platform, causing a torrent of refund requests when it was revealed that Thorne was in fact clothed in the pic. The nude offer may have come from an imitation account, and Thorne previously stated, “I’m not doing nudity.” Still, the creators are saying Thorne, who already had an established social-media platform — she has 23.7 million Instagram followers — ruined the fun, and funds, for lesser-known talents.

“I hurt you and for that I’m truly sorry,” wrote Thorne in part in a series of tweets over the weekend after OnlyFans creators piled on the former Disney Channel star, blaming her for a few policy changes they say cramped their paychecks. Thorne went on to clarify her intentions: “I wanted to bring attention to the site, the more people on the site the more likely of a chance to normalize the stigmas.”

Thorne said she was trying to use her “voice” and “platform” to “advocate for something bigger than yourself,” adding that she was joining the site to “remove the stigma behind sex work,” by “bringing a mainstream face to it.” But some sex workers aren’t buying it.

“This would be all [fine] and dandy except for you dipped your toe in, and called it sex work,” wrote one unimpressed OnlyFans creator. “Not everyone is cut out for sex work,” another scoffed.

“I have risked my career a few times to remove the stigma behind sex work, porn, and the natural hatred people spew . . . behind anything sex related,” added Thorne, referencing the erotic film, “Her & Him,” that she produced and directed for PornHub. The grit-and-glitter celeb has also said recently that her time on OnlyFans would serve as research for a documentary she’s working on with “Tangerine” director Sean Baker. Baker distanced himself from Thorne last week writing in a statement, “I’m NOT attached to this project.”

Thorne’s successes on the steamy site, alongside boldfacers like Cardi B and Sonja Morgan have less-recognizable OF talents peeved. “How about you take all the money you made and put it back into OF for its true content creators,” wrote Holly Wolf, an OnlyFans creator.

OnlyFans told The Post in a statement that the changes were “to help prevent overspending,” and “are not based on any one user.”

However, in her torrent of apologetic tweets, the “Midnight Sun” actress added that she’s trying to make it right with management. “I’m meeting with only fans about the new restrictions to find out why!!!” wrote Thorne. “This is f - - ked up and I’m sorry comment any ideas or concerns you want brought up to OF!! and send me your links and a pic so I can promote you guys.”
