ATLANTA — The Mets’ already fat injured list is growing to a dozen with the inclusion of two important left-handed bats.
Michael Conforto and Jeff McNeil will be placed on the IL before Monday’s game against the Braves, according to an industry source, after both departed Sunday’s action with hamstring injuries.

Conforto and McNeil join Brandon Nimmo, J.D. Davis, Luis Guillorme, Jose Martinez and Albert Almora Jr. among position players on the IL.
