Jeff McNeil was carted off with an apparent left leg injury Thursday afternoon at Citi Field after crashing into the left-field wall making an impressive catch to end the top of the first inning.

McNeil, 28, ran toward the fence and made an out-stretched grab on Asdrubal Cabrera’s deep fly ball before the collision. He slammed his glove to the ground in frustration and was grabbing at his left leg.

Billy Hamilton, recently acquired from the Giants, replaced McNeil at-bat in the bottom of the first.

McNeil, who was an All-Star last season, is hitting .293 with a .358 on-base percentage and seven RBIs in 67 plate appearances this season.
