Trevor Lawrence opted out of NFL medical testing in Indianapolis this week — where nearly 150 draft prospects are undergoing in-person medical exams and physicals — and for good reason.

The former Clemson star quarterback, who’s the presumptive No. 1 pick, will tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Marissa Mowry this weekend, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Lawrence proposed to Mowry in July 2020, when he got down on one knee on Clemson’s home field at Memorial Stadium in South Carolina. In March, he celebrated his bachelor party in Vegas.

Ahead of the wedding bliss, Lawrence and Mowry attended The Masters in Augusta, Georgia on Thursday, where they were spotted mingling with some familiar faces. Lawrence was pictured chopping it up with fellow QB and Super Bowl LIV champ Patrick Mahomes. Kansas City’s ace — who welcomed his first child, a daughter named Sterling, with fiancee Brittany Matthews in February — was at the event with his teammate, tight end Travis Kelce.

Lawrence is also recovering from a torn labrum in his left shoulder, in which he underwent surgery on February 16. While he’s “not 100 percent,” Rapoport reports that Lawrence’s rehab process is “going very well.”

The 21-year-old QB “has been throwing over the course of the last two weeks. He’s not 100% yet, but his workouts are starting to look and feel normal and he’s turned the corner health-wise. All good signs,” Rapoport shared, via Twitter.

This week’s pre-draft medical exams and physicals are routine and typically a followup to the Combine, which took place in February. The draft prospects who are in Indy this week include those projected for the first three rounds, plus medical risks, said Rapoport.

Lawrence also recently declined the option to attend the April 29 draft, when the Jaguars are expected to take the star QB with the No. 1 pick.
