Ruschmeyers in Montauk is the latest Hamptons hot spot to plan its reopening.
The eatery, which opened in 1952, will reopen its 10,000-square-foot outdoor patio for dining and take-out June 22, we hear. It’s across from the Surf Lodge, and will feature Italian cuisine by chef Lorenzo Lentini — with tables 15 feet apart that seat up to 10 people, and with all servers in masks and gloves. We reported Surf Lodge will reopen in July, with its rooms reconfigured to rent by the month or season to comply with coronavirus precautions. East Hampton’s board has tried to halt resorts from reopening for fear of potential outbreaks.
