Julia Fox is writing a memoir while in quarantine.

“I just started in quarantine, only the first chapter but it’s long, and I’m about to rework it and everything,” the “Uncut Gems” actress told Page Six over the phone this week. “I want to kind of change it a little bit, just the structure and overall composition.

“That’s been really nice to be able to do that because usually, I’m a person that can’t really stay still for too long,” Fox, 30, continued, “so it’s good that I have absolutely zero distractions.”

The former fashion designer, who is in the midst of a divorce from estranged husband Peter Artemiev, is quarantined in New York City but is looking forward to going back to LA when the time is right.

“I’ve gotten into a routine here,” Fox told us. “I’m pretty comfortable.”

Although she misses the City of Angels, Fox has discovered the benefits of isolation.

“Quarantine has given me the chance to kind of look inward and be a little more introspective and kind of remember who I am and what I always wanted to do before I got sidetracked,” she said.

“I feel like for writers this time has been like a godsend because we can just stay home and write and not like feel weird about it. Writing can be a solitary experience. That’s where I feel most comfortable.”

Fox, who is looking forward to getting back to work and auditioning for new roles, is appreciative of how quarantine has helped her.

“My quarantine has had a lot of silver linings, which I’m really fortunate about,” she said. “I can’t say the same for everyone. I’m very fortunate that it’s been an overall positive experience for me.”
