Spencer Pratt is “excited” about Kristin Cavallari’s next chapter without Jay Cutler.

On Monday’s episode of “The Speidi Podcast,” Pratt, along with wife Heidi Montag and fellow “Hills” star Audrina Patridge, opened up about Cavallari’s divorce from Cutler, saying the Uncommon James founder is “better off.”

“I think Kristin is going to be better off and I’m excited for her new chapter,” 36-year-old Pratt said. “Hopefully on ‘The Hills,’ you know, dating.”

In April, Cavallari, 33, and Cutler, 37, announced they were divorcing after seven years of marriage. The Nashville-based pair — who share sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 6, and 4-year-old daughter Saylor — issued a joint statement on their Instagram accounts, stating: “This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”

Patridge, 35, who appeared on “The Hills” with Cavallari for two seasons, said she recently connected with the “Very Cavallari” star in the wake of the news.

“We talked a little bit, two or three weeks ago when it first all came out, but she needs time to process and heal,” Patridge said. “It’s literally, almost like mourning a death, going through divorce. There’s highs and lows of fighting, and being so sad, and just thinking, ‘Did I do the right thing?’ It’s like an emotional roller coaster.”

Patridge filed for divorce from Corey Bohan in 2017 after 10 months of marriage following an alleged domestic violence incident. The duo, who are parents to 3-year-old daughter Kirra Max, finalized their divorce in 2018.

“Divorce is hard, she’ll get through it though,” Patridge said.

While Montag, 33, called Cavallari “one of the most resilient” women she knows, Pratt said the mother of there will turn this trying time into something greater.

“I guarantee you she writes a New York Times bestseller, ‘How to Divorce and Win,’” Pratt said.

Montag added that they are “totally team Kristin.”

Prior to their divorce, Cavallari and Cutler were quarantined in the Bahamas for three weeks with pals Justin Anderson and Austin Rhodes. Although the estranged pair posed for photos together, the group endured some social media backlash in response to the images amid the coronavirus crisis.

Earlier this month, Cavallari and Cutler reached a joint custody and property agreement.
