Noel Gallagher, the former frontman of Oasis, says he once did so much cocaine, it gave him panic attacks and, in one case, left him voluntarily hospitalized.

Gallagher, 52, recalled to Matt Morgan on his “Funny How?” podcast that he was rushed to the hospital in America at the height of his habit.

“I did have to check into hospital once,” Gallagher noted (via The Sun). “Imagine having the psychosis and having to have to go to hospital. They don’t understand a word you’re saying because of your accent and you’re like ‘I think I am on my way out.’”

After “a few brutal panic attacks,” Gallagher got clean in 1998 during a month-long trip to Thailand with his then-wife, Meg Matthews. The former couple, who were together for three years, split in 2001.

Last year, Gallagher admitted to the UK’s Metro that he finds the trappings of his former rockstar life tedious, stating, “You just know that when the coke comes out the night is going to take a s–t turn.”

“It’s always like fun and games and once someone gets the coke out then all of a sudden it’s, ‘Well, it’s time for me to go anyway, because this is now boring.’”

And while Gallagher may be put-off by the drug, he showed no qualms about throwing an allegedly “Narcos”-themed bash in 2017 to celebrate his 50th birthday.
