Jane Fonda‘s iconic ’80s workout videos — and leotards — are back.
The 82-year-old actress has joined TikTok to put out fitness routines for fans in quarantine
In her first comeback video, Fonda wears a long-sleeved version of one of her signature bodysuits (but with flare yoga pants instead of leg warmers), and lies in a side-plank formation to do some leg raises before turning her focus to helping the planet. The famed environmental activist, who was arrested weekly throughout the fall for protesting on Capitol Hill, urged followers to join her in working to protect the Earth.
“You know what, there are too many workouts happening right now on television and on computers,” the “Grace and Frankie” star says. “What I really would like you to do is to work out with me for the planet.
“There’s a climate crisis that’s a real emergency, and so whether you’re on your couch or your yoga mat, will you join me for the virtual Fire Drill Fridays?” she asked. “The future needs you. I need you.”
The workouts will be live at 11 a.m. PT.
As Fonda once said of exercise, “Go for the burn! Sweat!”
