Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are on the mend after testing positive for coronavirus last week.

Five days after announcing they have coronavirus, the couple have left the hospital in Australia and are continuing their quarantine at a house they rented there, a rep for Hanks on Monday.

The couple announced their diagnosis on social media last Wednesday, writing, “Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive. We’ll keep the world posted and updated.”

Until Monday, Hanks, 63, and Wilson, 63, were isolated and quarantined in an Australian hospital.

Hanks posted several updates on him and Wilson’s health and thanked everyone for taking good care of them at the hospital.

“We are taking it one-day-at-a-time,” he wrote.

In another post he wrote alongside a photo of his breakfast of Vegemite on toast, which was next to a stuffed kangaroo toy holding the Australian flag, “Thanks to the Helpers. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other. Hanx.”

Colin Hanks took to social media to thank fans for supporting his father and stepmom as well.

“We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from everyone. My parents are receiving excellent care in Australia and are doing well (and in good spirits) given the circumstances,” he wrote last week.
