FBI records show that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's marriage ended because he lost his cool and said that one of their six children 'looks like a f—ing Columbine kid.'
The "Fight Club" star, who is 58 years old, is said to have made the horrible comparison while drinking on the 2016 private jet flight that ended with Jolie, who is 47, filing for divorce six days later. The papers Page Six got show this.
Early on in the flight, Jolie could tell that Pitt "was mad" and asked him what was wrong, the heavily redacted report said.
“That kid looks like a f—ing Columbine kid,” Pitt allegedly snapped, accusing his superstar then-wife of being “crazy” and “ruining this family.”
It wasn't clear right away to which of their six children Pitt was comparing Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the cowards who killed 12 kids and a teacher in a 1999 school shooting in Colorado, and who he was comparing.
But it led to the ugly, violent fight that ended their marriage, Jolie told investigators. The two went into a bathroom at the back of the jet to fight in private, the report said.
Pitt had "had two or three drinks," which Jolie said "wasn't much alcohol" for him because she had seen him drink a whole bottle of vodka before.
Page Six reported that Jolie said Pitt "started yelling at her," "grabbed her by the head and shook her," and then "punched the ceiling of the plane about four times."
The report says that he then "pushed her against the bathroom wall and yelled things like, 'You're f—ing up this family.'"
Two of their kids were crying outside, and one of them asked their mother, "Are you okay?"
When Jolie tried to hug them, Pitt allegedly pushed her away and said, "No, she's not OK. She is tearing this family apart. "She's nuts."
The report says that at this point, one of the kids, whose name was blacked out, yelled, "It's not her, it's you, you prick!"
Pitt is said to have then run toward the child, but Jolie stopped him and hurt her back and elbow in the process.
In the first FBI report, Jolie said that Pitt poured beer on her as she tried to sleep at another point during the flight.
At the end of the flight, Jolie said Pitt kept the family on the plane for about 20 minutes after she told him she was taking the kids to a hotel in California to rest. She said that he yelled, "Don't take my f—ing kids!" and pushed her.
Jolie gave the FBI photos of what she said were her injuries and journals from her children for the report. But Pitt was never charged with a crime because he was found not guilty of the child abuse claims.
Jolie filed for divorce six days after the flight. The ex-spouses are still fighting over who will take care of their young kids.
The actress is thought to have sued the bureau in April under the name Jane Doe and asked for documents related to an investigation into Pitt. She may have done this to find out why he wasn't charged with a crime.
But a source close to Pitt told Page Six that copies had been sent to everyone and that her attempt to get them through the courts was "all for show."
“This is all information that she already had five and a half years ago. There is nothing new here,” the source said.
A rep for Pitt declined to comment, while one for Jolie was not immediately available.
