Miles Bridges, an NBA player, was arrested for hitting a woman

A report said that NBA player Miles Bridges was arrested on Wednesday after he hurt a woman during a fight in Los Angeles the day before.

TMZ reported that Bridges, a forward for the Charlotte Hornets, turned himself in to the LAPD and was charged with felony domestic violence.

On Tuesday, the 24-year-old basketball player is said to have gotten into a fight with the woman, which turned physical. Police were called.

Bridges ran away before the police arrived, but according to the outlet, he turned himself in the next day.

TMZ said that the woman needed medical help, but they didn't say how bad her injuries were.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says that Bridges was charged with a felony and given $130,000 bail to get out of jail.
