Deivi García won’t be saving the Yankees anytime soon.

The right-hander is struggling mightily at Triple-A Wilkes-Barre and may have hit rock bottom on Tuesday night in what eventually became a 12-6 win over the Syracuse Mets.

The Yankees’ hyped pitching prospect allowed two hits and five runs, including a three-run home run to Travis Blankenhorn, in just 1/3 of an inning. It was the second straight start in which Garcia allowed five runs.

García struggled with the command, throwing 15 of his 35 pitches for strikes and walking five.

After the quick exit, García now sits at 1-2 with an 8.10 ERA. He has allowed 22 walks and 31 strikeouts in seven starts this season for the RailRiders.

Garcia has not fared much better in the big leagues this season, either. He has been called up twice for the Yankees. In his two starts, García is 0-2 and has allowed six runs with an ERA of 6.48.

The Yankees rotation could use help with Corey Kluber currently out and Jameson Taillon struggling.

The 22-year-old’s potential was on full display last August when he struck out 33 in 34 1/3 innings pitched. Against the cross-town rival Mets, García notched six strikeouts in six scoreless innings in a 5-2 win.

Garcia started Game 2 of the ALDS, but only as an opener as the Yankees disastrously turned to J.A. Happ in the second inning of a 7-5 loss that turned the five-game series in Tampa Bay’s favor.

García is currently ranked as the Yankees’ third-highest prospect behind Jasson Dominguez and Clarke Schmidt. He is also the 81st prospect in all of the minor leagues.
