Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: Streaming on Disney+

This Thanksgiving Swifties have much to be thankful for. On the heels of this year’s Grammy nominations announcement (Taylor Swift is up for six!), she announced Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, which promises to be the first deep dive into the hit album. In it, the pop star, who is accompanied by co-producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff along with a guest appearance by Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), performs each song in order for the very first time, and reveals the stories and secrets behind all 17 songs. So get out your cardigans, make some tea, and cozy up for this intimate look inside Folklore. —Lauren Huff

The Christmas Chronicles 2

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: Streaming on Netflix

Santa Claus is back in town — or rather, he's in his hometown of the North Pole gearing up for the holiday season when some unexpected visitors, quite literally, drop in. Written and directed by Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter), the sequel to 2018's The Christmas Chronicles sees a now-teenage Kate Pierce (Darby Camp) missing snow and all thing festive on a Yuletide family vacation in Mexico, when she — along with step-brother-to-be Jack (Jahzir Bruno) — is suddenly reunited with Santa (Kurt Russell) via a mysterious troublemaker, a golf cart, and a magical portal in the tip of the Northern Hemisphere. Sadly, their impromptu trip isn't just for an extra dose of holiday spirit, as it soon transpires said mysterious troublemaker, a former elf named Belsnickel (Deadpool 2's Julian Dennison), is out to destroy the North Pole and end Christmas for good!! We won't spoil the ending and tell you whether the holiday lives to brighten another year, but with Mrs. Claus (Goldie Hawn) and her magical cookies on the case, and Santa rocking out in an epic musical moment, we're certain Christmas has never been sexier, sorry, safer! —Ruth Kinane

Saved by the Bell

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: Streaming on Peacock

Revival Series Debut
Hey, preppies! Saved by the Bell is back with all new students roaming the halls of Bayside High — and a lot of recognizable alums, too. The new Peacock revival welcomes back Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, and Lark Voorhies, who will update fans about what their characters have been up to all these years.

For Lopez’s character A.C. Slater and Berkley Lauren’s Jessie Spano, it’s revealed how their futures lie in the past. Slater is a longtime bachelor who works at Bayside as the gym teacher and sports coach. Spano, now known as Dr. Spano, serves as the school’s counselor. And while we won’t unveil what Voorhies’ Lisa Turtle is up to, the status of super couple Zack (Gosselaar) and Kelly (Thiessen) is much less secretive. They’re still married and their son Mac (Mitchell Hoog) is a Bayside Tiger who is currently adapting to an influx of students joining the school after his dad, who is now Governor, controversially shut down schools in working-class communities. There’s a lot going on but rest assured, there’s always time to chill out at The Max. —Rosy Cordero.
