You can and should still buy Chris Evans’ ‘Knives Out’ sweater in 2020

This timeless classic has staying power.

Get your “Knives Out” and put your sweaters on, gentlemen. It’s Chris Evans season and we’re feeling cozy.

With the onset of winter weather, the time to don a cable-knit sweater is upon us, and who better to lead the charge than one of the “best Chrises”: Chris Evans.

Even though the film “Knives Out” premiered almost a full year ago in November 2019, one thing remains true to this day: Chris Evans looks fine in a sweater. Twitter blew up after seeing the film, and movie-goers and celebrities alike chimed in to confirm that sweaters are indeed a sexy closet staple.

“I was at the premiere last night and I’m pretty sure people clapped and cheered when that sweater came out,” actress Mara Wilson tweeted back in 2019.

More recently, Evans was caught wearing a bit less than a sweater. In September, the star uploaded a video that accidentally showed his penis to his 5.7 million followers. The internet did what it does best and soon, before Evans could remove the video, screenshots were taken and distributed faster than you can say, “Where’s your sweater now?”

Scott Evans chimed in, in a very brotherly way, to poke some fun, and both his “Avengers” co-star Mark Ruffalo and celebrity icon Chrissy Teigen left messages of support after the easy-to-make mistake.

But back to matters with more material, we can all agree that Chris Evans is sexy, even with all his clothes on. Not so coincidentally, other non-Chrises wanted in on the sweater trend, and soon the cream-colored knit was selling out of stores everywhere. With a whole year behind us to restock, companies like Blarney Woollen Mills are still sold out of the Blasket Honeycomb Stitch Aran Sweater, which rose 150% in sales after the movie was released.

While you can’t yet get that one, we skimmed through all of Evans’ wild woolen scenes and picked out the best dupes to don this winter and continue the fab fad through to 2021.
