After a lengthy wait for results, Joe Biden has been elected the next president of the United States, much to the delight of these A-list backers.

While celebrity Trump supporters have been mum so far, praise for Biden immediately erupted online, with several big names congratulating the nation’s next commander-in-chief, including Lizzo, Ariana Grande and even Kim Kardashian.

A teary-eyed Lizzo took to Instagram to emotionally process the win, believing that Trump simply “didn’t care” about the American people. She also took pride in knowing a black woman will hold office as Vice-President for the first time in US history.
