From her past life as fashion’s wildest party girl to her $2,000 morning beauty routine, everything Kate Moss does is over the top. So is it any surprise that she’s swimming in bling?
“When I’m in Ibiza, I like to wear diamonds on the beach,” the 46-year-old supermodel told Vogue in an interview promoting her new jewelry collection for Messika.
“When I go swimming in the sea, sometimes I’ll just wear my emerald ring that I got from Jade Jagger, because the colors look so beautiful in the water,” Moss continued. “I know that sounds quite decadent, but that’s why I love jewelry — it gives me pleasure, it definitely brings me joy.”
Back in 2016, jeweler Jagger — one of Moss’ best friends, and the daughter of Rolling Stones frontman Mick — told Racked about the custom piece she created for the catwalker.
“I bought this really beautiful emerald for Kate Moss, she wanted an emerald and we found this beautiful one and set it in this almost invisible setting so it just looked like some Kryptonite and it was just a great success,” Jagger said.
A similar style for sale on the jeweler’s website is priced at well over $17,000.
