Disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein is expected this week to be stripped of a royal honor awarded by Queen Elizabeth II in 2004, according to a report.

The fallen Hollywood titan was sentenced last year to 23 years in prison after a Manhattan jury found him guilty of predatory sex assault, rape and forcible oral sex.

Weinstein, 68, is now expected to lose the honorary CBE — short for Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire — when the Honours Forfeiture Committee meets Friday to discuss recipients who have brought the system into disrepute, The Sun reported.

The Queen had awarded Weinstein the CBE in 2004 for his outstanding contribution to the British film industry. It is the second-highest honor she can bestow, beaten only by a knighthood.

The move to remove the honor follows a campaign by playwright Polly Creed for Britain to follow the example of France, where President Emmanuel Macron began the process for stripping Weinstein’s Legion d’Honneur within days of allegations emerging in 2017, according to the news outlet.

Lawyers for Weinstein — who is locked up at the Wende Correctional Facility in Erie County, east of Buffalo — plan to appeal the verdict in the coming weeks. He also faces another sex crimes case in Los Angeles.
