Rihanna “bruised her forehead and face” following an incident last week involving an electric scooter, her rep confirmed Saturday to People, the same day images of the 32-year-old singer emerged online appearing bruised.
“Rihanna is completely fine now but flipped over on an electric scooter last week and bruised her forehead and face,” her rep said in a statement, adding, “Luckily there were no major injuries and she is healing quickly.”
On Saturday, TMZ published photos of Rihanna in a vehicle outside a Santa Monica eatery on Friday night. The Fenty Beauty mogul appeared to have bruises on her face.
Rihanna is the latest celeb to sustain injuries from an electric ride. Last month, Simon Cowell broke his back after an accident with his e-bike.
A rep for Rihanna did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
