The coronavirus has shuttered daily life around the world and is claiming more lives every day.

In the US, some figures estimate that up to 70% of people will eventually get the flu-like illness if the spread isn’t slowed. Celebrities falling victim to the virus are doing their part by bringing awareness to its symptoms and how to prevent it.

The grim announcements first started with celebrity power couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson who were diagnosed during a trip to Australia. The scale of the disease has led to more high profile figures revealing their positive coronavirus diagnoses as the world grapples to contain the spread of the deadly virus.

Others, like Emily Ratajkowski, Orlando Bloom and Charles Barkley, have publicly announced they are self-isolating as a precaution, while some like Naomi Campbell in her extreme hazmat suit, are sharing hygiene advice amid the pandemic.

Here’s a growing list of the A-listers, athletes and prominent figures with confirmed cases. This list will be updated as more announcements are made, although The Post sincerely hopes no one else falls victim to the coronavirus.

Antonio Banderas tested positive for COVID-19 on his 60th birthday. The “Pain and Glory” star revealed his diagnosis in a lengthy tweet on August 10.

“I want to tell you all the following,” he wrote in the note in Spanish, noting that he tested positive and is in quarantine.

“I would like to add that I find myself relatively well, only a bit more tired than usual and confident that I will recuperate as soon as possible by following the medical instructions that I hope will help me overcome the infectious process that I am suffering and that has affected so many others around the planet,” he added.

Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Milano said thought she “was dying” after testing positive for the coronavirus earlier this year.

In August, the 47-year-old actress shared a photo of herself wearing a mask and a breathing machine to let fans know of her diagnosis.

“This was me on April 2nd after being sick for 2 weeks. I had never been this kind of sick,” she wrote. “It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t keep food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. I was confused. Low grade fever. And the headaches were horrible.”

Milano noted that she still has ”lingering symptoms like, vertigo, stomach abnormalities, irregular periods, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, zero short term memory, and general malaise” months later.

Chris and Cristina Cuomo

Chris Cuomo, CNN host and brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, tested positive for the coronavirus in late March. Just weeks later, on Wednesday, April 15, he revealed that his wife, magazine editor Cristina, 50, also has the virus.

“I have been exposed to people in recent days who have subsequently tested positive and I had fever, chills and shortness of breath,” the 49-year-old father of three said on March 31, adding, “I just hope I didn’t give it to the kids and Cristina.”

Since her husband’s diagnosis, Cristina had been updating Instagram followers on Chris’ progress. In an April 6 post, she noted that he “has maintained his sense of taste and smell, but not his usual hearty Italian appetite.” The week before, Chris said he’d lost 13 pounds during his ordeal.

Chris said his wife is “not upset” about her own diagnosis and “takes everything in stride,” though he himself has been “a bit of a mess about it.”

In an interview with his little brother on Chris’ “Cuomo Prime Time” show Wednesday, the governor joked that this was just one of many things the anchor’s wife could already hold over his head. “The good news … Cristina is going to blame you for this, there’s a lot of other things as you know that she can blame you for, so this is going to be number 17 on the list,” he said, adding that, ultimately, “it’s all going to be fine.”

Prince Charles

The 71-year-old heir to the British throne is self-isolating after testing positive for the coronavirus, it was announced Wednesday.

“He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual,” the prince’s office said in a statement, adding that he was tested Monday and received the results Tuesday.

“It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks,” his office added.

The Prince of Wales’ wife, Camilla, 72, the Duchess of Cornwall, tested negative for COVID-19 but is also self-isolating with him at their Balmoral Estate in Scotland.

The actor and actress, both 63, were in Australia when their tests came back positive with the virus, they said Wednesday. The couple gave an update Thursday on their health, and their sons Chet, 29, and Colin, 42, also reassured fans that the two didn’t seem to have severe symptoms. True to form, Hanks made light of the scary situation by quoting his infamous “A League of Their Own” character.

“We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else,” he wrote on Instagram. “There are those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one-day-at-a-time. There are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other, no? Remember, despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball. Hanx.”

Idris Elba

The actor, 47, announced his diagnosis Monday, saying he has no symptoms, but it “sucks.”

Daniel Dae Kim

The “Hawaii 5-0” and “Lost” actor revealed in an Instagram update Thursday that he tested positive for the coronavirus.

“Hi everyone- yesterday I was diagnosed with COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. Looks like I’ll be ok, but I wanted share my journey with you in the hopes that you find it informative or helpful,” wrote Kim, 51. “Hope you all stay safe, calm, and above all, healthy.”

In a video accompanying his message, he apologized for his unshaven face, “call it quarantine chic,” he said with a chuckle. He said he was in New York when he got the disease, coincidentally filming a series about a doctor called in to help during a flu pandemic. When production was called off and he flew back to his home in Hawaii, he started feeling a sore throat, then, in isolation, tightness in his chest, a fever and body aches.

He finally enlisted a private doctor for the test, and the results came back positive for coronavirus, he wrote in a lengthy post on Instagram.

“Please stop everything and take care of yourselves,” he pleaded in the post.

The Saints’ head coach tested positive for the virus. It was the first known case in the NFL community.

“This is not just about social distancing,” Payton told ESPN. “It’s shutting down here for a week to two weeks. If people understand the curve, and understand the bump, we can easily work together as a country to reduce it. Take a minute to understand what the experts are saying. It’s not complicated to do what they’re asking of us. Just that type of small investment by every one of us will have a dramatic impact.
