This “College Dropout” isn’t dropping out of the presidential race anytime soon.
Kanye West claimed he “can” and “will” beat Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election in November through write-in votes, the rapper said Saturday on Twitter.
West, 43, did not mention his other competitor, President Trump, whom he had previously supported. He plans to run as neither a Republican nor Democrat, but as a member of the self-founded Birthday Party, according to paperwork he allegedly filed with the FEC.
Write-in votes may be the Yeezy designer’s only chance of winning: After announcing his bid on July 4, he’s missed several state filing deadlines.
At a campaign rally in South Carolina last week, the father of four proceeded to make strange remarks about Harriet Tubman and his wife Kim Kardashian West, sparking theories that he was suffering from a bipolar episode.
Kardashian confirmed the rumors this week, asking for compassion in an Instagram statement. West continued to attack the reality TV star and her mom, Kris Jenner, in a series of wild, but later-deleted, tweets.
