Larsa Pippen brushed aside rumors that she is no longer part of Kim Kardashian’s inner circle on Wednesday, but Page Six has learned that they are far from being BFFs.
“[Pippen and Kardashian] are friends, but not close friends,” an insider confirmed to Page Six on Thursday.
This week, fans noted that Kim, along with her sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, did not follow the 47-year-old TV personality on Instagram, fueling rumors that Pippen got the Kardashian boot.
However, we’re told that Kim “never followed” Pippen to begin with as she “doesn’t follow that many people” and that the rumor that she unfollowed Pippen is “not true.”
Page Six previously reported that Pippen posted a cryptic message following the rumors of her feud with Kim, which were further fueled after Kim’s husband Kanye West — who is in midst of a bipolar episode — tweeted and then deleted “Larsa” with no additional context.
“I woke up this morning blessed and see that everybody is focused on who I am following and who I am not following on social media,” she wrote on her Instagram Story Wednesday. “I am focused on my children, my new fitness brand Larsapippenfitness, and my relationships in real life.”
She added, “Praying that everybody finds peace in their own lives and focus on what brings THEM happiness.”
Pippen has frequently attended Kardashian family parties, made appearances on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and traveled the world with Kim, 39, and Kourtney, 41.
But it appears Kourtney has also distanced from Pippen.
“[Kourney] hasn’t followed Larsa for a long time,” the insider told us, adding, “[I] don’t believe there is an issue [between them].”
Fans also acknowledged that none of the Kardashians wished Pippen a happy birthday earlier this month via social media as they have in past years.
Pippen’s rep did not immediately return our request for comment.
