Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are hosting a virtual fund-raiser for Biden on Aug. 6, moderated by TEDWomen editorial director Pat Mitchell.
The invitation, sent to Democratic followers, states: “Jane and Lily have made their legendary mark on film screens in the US and globally, while being widely admired for their advocacy work off-camera. We are so grateful for their endorsement of Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.”
Fonda was arrested five times last year while protesting with climate change activists. Tickets for the campaign rally go for $100 to $10,000.
