The daughter of former “Bachelor” star Michelle Money has almost completely recovered from the accident that put her on life support.
“I’m feeling a lot better,” Brielle Money told Chris Harrison on Monday’s episode of “The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!” (via Entertainment Tonight).
“I still kind of have a few side effects, but I’m recovering fast, doing well,” Brielle, 15, added. “I got released from all my therapies, it’s been good.”
Michelle added, “We’re so grateful. We did receive so many uplifting messages and prayers, and it really got us through.”
In March, Brielle was involved in a skateboarding accident that caused brain injury. She was placed on life support and underwent brain surgery to alleviate the pressure and release fluid. Near the end of April, Brielle woke up and learned how to walk again.
The accident left Brielle feeling “grateful,” as it forced her to reevaluate her priorities.
“I’ve learned to focus on school and to learn the path to get to where I want to end up in the future,” she explained to viewers in an Instagram video after she was released from the hospital. “I want to go to Stanford. I’m gonna think about what steps I need to take to end up there, and I wasn’t thinking about that before this happened, so I’m really grateful that this happened.”
