Halsey is preparing to release a very personal book.
The “Without Me” singer is releasing a book of poetry titled “I Would Leave Me if I Could” on Nov. 10, 2020. Being published by Simon & Schuster, the book of poems will examine the highs and lows of doomed relationships, family ties, sexuality and mental illness, according to a news release.
Halsey, 25, will also release an audio version featuring her vocals. The book cover art is her original painting “American Woman.”
“I wrote a few thousand sentences but am somehow struggling to string together a single one to summarize how excited I am about this,” she announced on Instagram. “I Would Leave Me If I Could.’, my first collection of poetry, is available for pre-order now.”
“Author” isn’t Halsey’s only side job — she’s also studying to take the bar exam.
Perhaps she and Kim Kardashian could open up a law firm down the line.
