Beyoncé celebrated Juneteenth by dropping her single “Black Friday” and immediately jetting off with her husband Jay-Z and three children to The Hamptons.

The new song’s opening lines are “I’m going back to the South, I’m going back where my roots ain’t watered down” — but in reality, Queen Bey opted for staying above the Mason-Dixon line as she and her family flew into the tony enclave of East Hampton.

Proceeds from the song will benefit Black-owned small businesses — and included links to dozens of Black-owned businesses, according to a post on her website. The site also included a message to fans that read, “Happy Juneteenth. Being Black is your activism. Black excellence is a form of protest. Black joy is your right.”

Also in the Hamptons this summer is Rihanna — who dropped $415,000 to rent a waterfront mansion for just one month — as well as Beyoncé neighbors Jennifer Lopez, Sean Combs, Steven Spielberg, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Ripa and Sarah Jessica Parker.
