Hannah Gadsby still has tales to tell.

The 42-year-old Australian comic, whose revelatory 2018 stand-up special vaulted her to seemingly overnight international stardom, is back in a trailer for her upcoming second Netflix show, titled “Hannah Gadsby: Douglas.”

In it, she worries that she may have used up all of her best material in her emotionally jarring previous special, “Hannah Gadsby: Nanette,” which was an emotional tour de force. The stand-up routine was filled with self-deprecation and a remarkably dark tale of getting beaten up by a man who was jealous that Gadsby was flirting with his girlfriend.

“Had I known just how wildly popular trauma was going to be in the context of comedy, I might have budgeted my s - - t a bit better,” she says in the trailer for the new special, which name-checks one of her dogs. “But I went and put all my trauma eggs into one basket like a f - - king idiot — and now here we are!”

Her first special was meant to be a bit of a swan song for her comedy career.

“I have been thinking about this whole comedy thing — I don’t feel very comfortable in it anymore,” she said in the show. “I’ve built a career out of self-deprecating humor . . . and I don’t want to do that anymore.”

But it launched her to fame worldwide and earned her a 2019 Emmy Award for outstanding writing for a variety special in a category that also included heavy-hitters “Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool,” “Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé” and “Wanda Sykes: Not Normal.”

Now she’s back with more laughs and, undoubtedly, more cringe-worthy stories.

“Hannah Gadsby: Douglas” premieres May 26 on Netflix.
