Irreverent pop star Katy Perry got a glimpse of the future with her daughter at the obstetrician’s office after an ultrasound scan. In a sonogram video shared on social media Monday morning, the 35-year-old “American Idol” host swears she can see her unborn child giving her the middle finger.
“When your unborn daughter gives you a middle finger from the womb you know you’re in for it #happymothersdaytome,” wrote Perry on Instagram.
The “Never Worn White” singer also shared a sweet clip of her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, who was holding a bouquet for the soon-to-be mom.
“Where did you get those?” she asked him in a video shared to her Instagram stories. “From the garden? And you arranged them for me?”

News of Perry’s pregnancy broke in March. In a Facebook live broadcast last week, the “American Idol” judge admitted she would like to be enjoying a Quarantini right about now.
“I’m not complaining, but I can’t drink, because I’m pregnant,” she said. “Some of you already have a cocktail, getting ready, or you have your favorite IPA, or your favorite rye whiskey, or your favorite white wine or rosé or whatever your favorite drink is. I mean, honestly, just Bud Light with a little lime. I’m very excited for the future when that can happen, which will be years, probably.”
She also revealed that her wedding to Bloom, originally to take place in Japan this summer, has also been postponed.
