Logan Paul confirmed this week that he is dating Josie Canseco and the new couple are in quarantine together amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“I just want to live a … normal life but it’s hard because I put everything on camera, so some things I try just a little bit to keep to myself,” he told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, hesitant to divulge too many details about their relationship.
Paul, 25, confessed that Canseco, 23, does not check off all of the boxes on his list of what he looks for in an ideal woman, but added, “I think the idea is to get in a relationship and grow with the person as they develop traits you are attracted to. So while [Josie] definitely checks off the majority, for sure, just like me, we both have stuff to work on.”
He said they met through the “crossing of L.A. circles” and that their romance is “pretty serious.”
The YouTube star, who has over 21 million subscribers on the platform, said he cautions anyone he dates, including Canseco, about his lifestyle.
“Full transparency, if you’re a woman and you get tied up in my life, your life will never be the same,” he said. “It’s a whirlwind, so I’m hesitant to involve the person I’m spending my time with as much as I do everything else, for the sake of them and their life.”
However, Canseco — whose father is former MLB star Jose Canseco — is no stranger to dating in the public eye.
The model was previously linked to Brody Jenner in 2019, following his very public split from wife Kaitlynn Carter.
Jenner, 36, first began dating Canseco over the summer, but the couple split shortly after in October, reportedly over their significant age difference.
