Amber Heard revealed Sunday her mother, Paige Heard, had died, sharing the news in an emotional Instagram tribute.
“I am heartbroken and devastated beyond belief at the loss of my mom, Paige Heard,” the 34-year-old actress began. “She left us too early, clasping onto the memory of her beautiful, gentle soul. She will be missed from the very depths of our hearts forever.”
She continued, “Her unflinching, open heart made her the most beautiful woman I had ever known.”
Heard did not reveal the cause of her mother’s death. Page Six has reached out to Heard’s rep for comment.
Heard’s famous friends, including Cara Delevingne and Andie MacDowell, offered their condolences.
“I’m so sorry for your loss dear one,” MacDowell commented, while Delevingne posted an emoji of a red heart.

In March, Heard shared a photo of her sister, Whit, and mother Paige in honor of International Women’s Day.
“Happy International Women’s Day, a day dedicated to all you badass women warriors out there. @whitheard,” she captioned at the time.
