The Duchess of Sussex, 38, made a surprise appearance on Wednesday in a video call with Smart Works, her patronage that provides unemployed women with professional wardrobes and interview training.
For her call with one of the UK charity’s clients, Markle wore a simple burgundy cashmere sweater by Joseph, along with a statement-making piece of jewelry: Edge of Ember’s Visionary Charm Necklace ($175).
“Inspired by vintage coins found in Asia, these modern-day talismans carry icons of good fortune,” the product description reads. “The Visionary Necklace bears a blue topaz evil eye to protects its wearer from negative vibes. It’s got your back.”
Currently available for pre-order, the protective gold vermeil pendant features blue and white topaz stones and can be paired with a variety of chains.

It’s not the only item of symbolic jewelry the Duchess has sported lately.
Markle recently appeared on “Good Morning America” wearing a pair of gold zodiac necklaces from Canadian brand Suetables: one adorned with a Virgo pendant ($56) in honor of her husband Prince Harry, the other outfitted with a Taurus charm ($113) for baby Archie.
