Gigi Hadid keeps baby Khai close at Fashion Week with special necklace

Even when she's on the job, the supermodel's keeping her 5-month-old daughter close to her heart.

Even when she’s on the job, Gigi Hadid is keeping her baby daughter Khai close to her heart.

The 25-year-old supermodel, who gave birth to her first child with Zayn Malik in September, stepped out during Milan Fashion Week on Sunday sporting some sweet new sparkle: a gold chain-link necklace with crystal-encrusted letters spelling out Khai’s name.

Made by The Sis Kiss, Hadid’s custom piece retails for just $68; she layered it with a Martha Calvo evil eye necklace ($150), presumably to help protect her growing family.

While Hadid and Malik, 28, kept their little one’s name private for months following her birth, both parents debuted tattoos of Khai’s name in Arabic recently — Malik’s on his wrist and Hadid’s above the crook of her arm.

A source told TMZ that the 5-month-old’s name is a tribute to the model’s paternal grandmother, who was named Khairiah. Khair also happens to be the middle name of Hadid’s younger sister, Bella.

Fans have also noted that Khai means “crowned” in Arabic.
