All about the special ring Olivia Rodrigo received from Taylor Swift

Rodrigo unwrapped a meaningful gift from her "idol" this week.

“Driver’s License” singer Olivia Rodrigo unwrapped a special gift from her “idol” Taylor Swift this week: a piece of jewelry inspired by one from the Grammy winner’s own collection.

“She is absolutely the kindest individual in the whole world,” the 18-year-old “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” star shared during an interview with SiriusXM on Tuesday.

“Actually, last night — like literally 12 hours ago — I got a package from her with this handwritten note. And she gave me this ring because she said she wore one just like it when she wrote ‘Red’ and she wanted me to have one like it … and like all of this amazing stuff, she’s like hand-wrapped these gifts.”

The bauble in question, which Rodrigo flashed briefly during the chat, is Cathy Waterman’s “Love” ring ($3,200); a longtime fan of the LA jeweler’s, Swift, 31, wore a diamond-studded version of the same style for her “Red” album photoshoot back in 2012.

The album garnered Grammy nominations and earned the pop star her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with its lead single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

Continued Rodrigo of her gift, “I truly don’t understand where she finds the time, first of all. But also, I feel so lucky that I just was born at the right time to be able to look up to somebody like her. I think she’s incredible. All of her support and like, genuine compassion and excitement for me is just been so, so surreal.”

Swift praised “Driver’s License” shortly after its release in early January. Rumored to have been inspired by a real-life love triangle involving Rodrigo and her “HSMTMTS” co-stars, Joshua Bassett and Sabrina Carpenter, the tune has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks straight.

The viral track even spawned an “SNL” homage in late February — in which, incidentally, Swift was name-checked as well.
