Dennis Rodman Jr. thought he had heard it all when it comes to his father, former Bulls power forward and renowned eccentric Dennis Rodman. That is, until he watched the third and fourth episodes of “The Last Dance.”

D.J., who just finished his freshman year at Washington State, said on Instagram Live that his dad’s midseason “48-hour vacation” to Las Vegas during the 1997-98 season was one story from his father’s playing days he didn’t know about, and something he learned along with Sunday’s television audience.

Every twist and turn of his father’s story was familiar, but the Vegas trip came as a surprise.

“Only thing I didn’t know was that vacation. … I didn’t know you could do that, “ he said. “I didn’t know you could go up to your coach and be like ‘I need a vacation.’ ”

Two days in Vegas with then-girlfriend and model Carmen Electra was anything but relaxing.

“I do remember being in Vegas with [Dennis]. It was on,” Electra said. “The party was starting right away. One thing about Dennis, he had to escape. He liked to go out. He liked to go to clubs. We’d go to his favorite restaurant. Then we’d go to a nightclub. Then we’d go to after hours. It didn’t stop. It was definitely an occupational hazard to be Dennis’ girlfriend. He was wild.”

Rodman’s “vacation,” which he requested from coach Phil Jackson out of a need to “blow off steam,” didn’t exactly end quietly either. According to the documentary’s director Jason Hehir, Rodman and Electra had returned to Chicago, but Rodman didn’t show up at practice. Michael Jordan had to pull Rodman out of his apartment as Electra hid under the covers.

At this point, D.J. finally may have heard it all.
