Dr. Anthony Fauci gave high marks to Brad Pitt for his portrayal of the infectious disease expert on “Saturday Night Live At Home,” according to a report.
“I think he did great. I’m a great fan of Brad Pitt, and that’s the reason why when people ask me who I would like to play me, I mention Brad Pitt,” Fauci told Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Dia” on Monday, Variety reported.
“He’s one of my favorite actors. I think he did a great job,” the member of the White House coronavirus task force added.
In the cold open, the Oscar-winning actor wore a silver wig as he ruminated on President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus crisis.

After several predictable digs, Pitt, 56, removed his wig and praised America’s health care workers on the front line — and Fauci’s “calm and clarity.”
Fauci, 79, called Pitt, 56, “classy” for breaking character and thanking the doctors and nurses.
“I think he showed that he is really a classy guy when at the end he took off his hair and thanked me and all of the health care workers. So not only is he a really great actor, but he is actually a classy person,” he said.
When asked if any of the remarks Pitt made during the skit had actually crossed his mind, Fauci answered: “Everything he said on ‘SNL’ is what’s going on.
“He did a pretty good job of putting everything together,” he added.
