Cowboys owner Jerry Jones sounded excited to draft from home and now we know why.

With teams forced to conduct the 2020 NFL Draft remotely for the first time ever, fans at home had a unique opportunity to peek into some team personnel’s war rooms. Setups ranged from the Lions’ IT person’s modest Winnebago that gave off serious Chris Farley “van-down-by-the-river” vibes, all the way up to Jones’ ostentatious super yacht.

ESPN’s Don Van Natta Jr. posted a known image of the interior of the Bravo Eugenia, a 357-foot “super-yacht” said to be valued at a cool $250 million.

The four-tiered yacht comes complete with creature comforts such as gym, spa, steam room, sauna and plunge pool, according to Forbes. She is named for his wife, Eugenia, to whom he has been married since 1963.

The 77-year-old mogul, who has an estimated net worth of $8.5 billion, said he was excited to be spared from some shin-kicking by drafting alone this time.

“One of the things I’m not going to miss is when I came out of those draft rooms over the weekend, my old shins used to have big old bruises on them,” Jones joked with Cowboys reporters ahead of the draft. “That was from Stephen kicking me under the table for three straight days relative to some of our decision-making.”

The Cowboys owned the 17th overall pick of the draft and selected Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who had been projected by some to go much earlier.

“We thought he was a top-10 pick,” Cowboys chief operation officer Stephen Jones said Thursday night. “We never really thought we had a chance to get him. Every mock draft we did, we had him long gone.”

Lamb was the third wide receiver off the board behind two former Crimson Tide receivers, Henry Ruggs III, who was selected by the Raiders at No. 12, and Jerry Jeudy, who went to the Broncos at No. 15.

“I didn’t [think it was possible], but I’m happy that’s where I ended up,” Lamb said shortly after being drafted by the Cowboys. “When my phone rang, it surprised me. Everything that I dreamed of was in that phone call.”

The Cowboys offense is now stacked with wideouts Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Lamb, along with bell-cow running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Cooper, 25, signed a five-year, $100 million contract extension on March 16. Gallup, 24, was drafted in the third round back in 2018 and has two years remaining on his rookie contract.

The elder Jones said there were three trade offers on the table to move back, but that Lamb “trumped them” and “earned the pick.”

The Cowboys have six remaining picks in this year’s draft. Their next picks come at No. 52 in the second round and No. 82 in Round 3.
