Robby Anderson’s time with the New York Jets is behind him, but the new Carolina Panthers receiver still made sure to point out he didn’t leave anything on the table.

Anderson took to Twitter after WFAN’s Boomer Esiason said he was told the Jets offered Anderson a four-year, $40 million contract, which the former Temple wideout supposedly snubbed to sign a two-year, $20 million deal (with $12 million guaranteed) with Carolina.

“False news y’all need to better jobs reporting and putting out fake news too ppl,” Anderson tweeted, according to SNY.

Anderson had a successful stint with the Jets, pulling down 207 catches for 3,059 yards and 20 touchdowns, but his production would fade for stretches, and was boom-or-bust as a deep threat for second-year quarterback Sam Darnold.
