“Bachelor” star Peter Weber was spotted practicing the opposite of social distancing with former contestant Kelley Flanagan in Chicago on Wednesday.
Photos of Weber, 28, picking up Flanagan, 27, and putting her over his shoulder surfaced online in recent days, sparking rumors that they may be dating.
Weber and Flanagan were joined for their stroll with former “Bachelorette” contestant Dustin Kendrick, who appeared on Hannah Brown’s season, and Clay Harbor, who appeared on “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Kendrick and Harbor, like Flanagan, live in Chicago full-time, but Weber lives in California, so his sighting in the Windy City seems even more peculiar amid the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s unclear whether the pair are quarantining together — like Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown — but “Pilot Pete” still works as a commercial pilot for Delta, so it’s possible that he was also just making a pitstop.
Weber and Flanagan did not return requests for comment.
This is not the first time there has been speculation about the pair being a couple.
In March, “Bachelor” spoiler king Reality Steve reported on rumors swirling that Weber and Flanagan had hooked up during Super Bowl weekend, after Weber’s season wrapped.
Flanagan denied to E! News that she and Weber were dating, saying, “I heard that I’m pregnant and I also heard that I’m with Peter right now. I’m not with Peter.”
Despite the denial, Flanagan was interestingly the only former contestant, who was not one of the final two women, invited to attend the “After the Final Rose” taping.
The attorney also has Weber’s mom, Barbara Weber’s, stamp of approval and even told her on social media, “We need to do lunch and go shopping for the day.”
It is unclear how or when they established a friendship, but Flanagan told E! Barbara made her feelings known on “After the Final Rose.”
“She came up to me and told me, gave me the biggest hug and she was, she was so sweet to me,” Flanagan shared. “She’s like, ‘You’re beautiful, I love you, oh my God, I was your fan since night one!’ Barb I guess wants to get lunch with me and go shopping and hey, whatever, you know.”
On “The Bachelor,” Weber proposed to contestant Hannah Ann Sluss, but called off the engagement because of his feelings for runner-up Madison Prewett.
Weber and Prewett, 24, tried to rekindle their relationship, but split just days after the show’s finale. She may have moved on with another former “Bachelorette” alum, Connor Saeli.
Flanagan was eliminated on Week 7 of Weber’s season.
