Barb Weber is on Team Kelley Flanagan.
On Saturday, the outspoken mother of “Bachelor” star Peter Weber posted a selfie to Instagram with her son’s girlfriend, weeks after the couple confirmed their relationship.
In the image, Barb is seen with Flanagan, 27, in one photo, and with Kristine Bruun-Andersen, the girlfriend of son Jack Weber, in another. She added “Girls rock!!!” to the bottom of the composite.
Flanagan, a Chicago-based attorney, replied to the snap: “Love this! ♥️”
Barb gained notoriety in March as son Peter wrapped his season of “The Bachelor,” which resulted in a failed engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss due to his lingering feelings for fellow finalist Madison Prewett. During the show’s “After the Final Rose” special that same month, Barb made it clear she preferred Sluss to Prewett.
“When I went for Hannah Ann, she was the one who embraced me with love,” Barb previously said of her meetings with both women. “The next day we met Madison and it started on a rocky road because she made us wait three hours to come in — she didn’t want to meet us. We had just come across the world, we were exhausted … and we had to wait three hours. And when she did come in, we didn’t get an apology.”
Peter, 28, and Prewett later went their separate ways, with the former “Bachelor” confirming his mom had nothing to do with their breakup.
In April, Peter fueled romance rumors with Flanagan — who also appeared on his “Bachelor” season — after the pair was spotted in Chicago. A month later, they made their romance official — much to Barb and patriarch Peter Sr.’s delight.
Flanagan and Peter first crossed paths before his season of “The Bachelor” even began. She was eliminated from the show in Week 7.
