The Jets had hoped to re-sign Anderson, but at their price. Clearly, Carolina valued him more.

Anderson was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Temple by the Jets in 2016. He played 62 games, starting 47 for the Jets in four years. He had 207 catches for 3,059 yards and 20 touchdowns.

His best season came in 2017 when he had 63 catches for 941 yards and seven touchdowns.
