Joe Burrow (QB, LSU)

Native Ohio son will love throwing to a healthy A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd, and handing off to Joe Mixon. Mentally tough enough to endure the rookie hardships.

2. Washington Redskins
Chase Young (DE, Ohio State)

The quarterback-desperate Dolphins and Chargers will be calling with offers, but if Ron Rivera and company are not blown away, they shouldn’t pass on the draft’s best pass rusher. All bets are off if they have reservations about Dwayne Haskins.

3. Miami Dolphins (from Detroit Lions)
Tua Tagovailoa (QB, Alabama)

As long as owner Stephen Ross and GM Chris Grier are convinced that the medicals check out, Brian Flores can redshirt his QB of the future while Ryan Fitzpatrick holds the fort.

4. Las Vegas Raiders (from New York Giants)
Jordan Love (QB, Utah State)

“Coach for life” Jon Gruden can’t help himself once again. He never met an exciting quarterback prospect, especially one 6-foot-4 and athletic, he didn’t like. This one will require development that will get Gruden’s juices flowing. Where there is smoke around Derek Carr, there is fire. A big splash for the move to Las Vegas.

“He’s a quarterback guru, that’s who you want to play with,” Love said at the NFL combine. Sure it’s a long shot. So was the Chiefs trading up from No. 27 to 10 for Patrick Mahomes.

5. Detroit Lions
Jeff Okudah (CB, Ohio State)

Matt Patricia’s bookend for Desmond Trufant to replace Darius “Big Play” Slay. Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins are on the schedule twice a year. And Nick Foles just arrived in Chicago.

6. Los Angeles Chargers
Justin Herbert (QB, Oregon)

Missed out on Tom Brady, and they’ll need someone other than Tyrod Taylor to duel Mahomes over at least part of the decade.

7. Carolina Panthers
Derrick Brown (DT, Auburn)

Isaiah Simmons to replace Luke Kuechly would be given consideration, but Vernon Butler and Gerald McCoy have left, and DT Kawann Short cannot improve the 29th-ranked run defense without a partner in crime.

Tristan Wirfs (OT, Iowa)

Kyler Murray will get over not reuniting with WR CeeDee Lamb now that Bill O’Brien gifted him DeAndre Hopkins, so a bookend for LT D.J. Humphries makes sense.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars
Isaiah Simmons (LB, Clemson)

Free agent MLB Joe Schobert moves Myles Jack outside, but you can’t pass up on a 6-3¹/₂, 238-pound freak who can line up virtually anywhere.

10. Cleveland Browns
Andrew Thomas (OT, Georgia)

Now Baker Mayfield has a bookend for RT Jack Conklin, one who blocked for Browns RB Nick Chubb in college.

11. New York Jets
Mekhi Becton (OT, Louisville)

If Joe Douglas likes athletic tackles (see: George Fant), how would he dare pass up this 6-7, 368-pound gift for Sam Darnold and Le’Veon Bell?

12. New York Giants (from Raiders)
Jedrick Wills (OT, Alabama)

Joe Judge gets the scoop from Nick Saban, and Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley get a blue-chip blocker who makes Cameron Fleming a swing tackle.

13. San Francisco 49ers (from Colts)
Jerry Jeudy (WR, Alabama)

His route-running makes him the ideal fit to pair with Deebo Samuel.

Ndamukong Suh may return, but he’s 33, a mere pup compared with Tom Brady, and a 6-5, 324-pound sidekick for Vita Vea who has drawn comparisons to Chris Jones trumps the remaining tackles on the board.

Ceedee Lamb (WR, Oklahoma)

Speed WR Henry Ruggs is a better fit opposite Courtland Sutton, but a potential DeAndre Hopkins clone for Drew Lock is too enticing to pass up.

16. Atlanta Falcons
CJ Henderson (CB, Florida)

A 6-1, 203-pounder to replace Trufant and match up with Michael Thomas and Mike Evans twice a year.

17. Dallas Cowboys
Henry Ruggs III (WR, Alabama)

A 4.27 blur who can be Dak Prescott’s Tyreek Hill. The signing of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix mitigates the need at safety.

Xavier McKinney (S, Alabama)

A smart, instinctive versatile replacement for FS Reshad Jones joins an elite secondary bolstered by CB Byron Jones. Sounds a bit like Minkah Fitzpatrick, doesn’t help?

K’Lavon Chaisson (DE/OLB, LSU)

An explosive 6-4, 249-pound hybrid who reminds some of Bruce Irvin. His Twitter handle is @S4CKGURU.

The 5.04 40 and 1.78-second 10-yard split were disappointing at the combine, but if and when Yannick Ngakoue is traded, Epensesa is a 6-5, 275-pounder who could be a poor man’s Arik Armstead.

A badly needed target for Carson Wentz with Alshon Jeffery on his way out, he’s 6-1, 202 pounds with 4.43 speed and a 92.3 percent contested catch rate with Burrow.

22. Minnesota Vikings (from Bills)
Trevon Diggs (CB, Alabama)

Coach Mike Zimmer and GM Rick Spielman will have to find a replacement for Stefon Diggs, so why not his brother? But CBs Trae Waynes, Xavier Rhodes and Mackensie Alexander are all gone.

23. New England Patriots
Kenneth Murray (LB, Oklahoma)

Bill Belichick needs reinforcements after losing Kyle Van Noy, Jamie Collins and Elandon Roberts. Bigger than LSU LB Patrick Queen. At 6-2¹/₂, 240 pounds, Murray can cover and blitz.

24. New Orleans Saints
Jalen Reagor (WR, TCU)

Ran a slower-than-expected 4.47 40 at the combine at a heavier-than-expected 206 pounds, but Sean Payton and Drew Brees will love this 5-11 weapon with his 42-inch vertical alongside Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.

25. Minnesota Vikings
Yetur Gross-Matos (DE, Penn State)

A 6-5, 265-pound replacement for Everson Griffen and Stephen Weatherly, and a bookend for Danielle Hunter. Has drawn comparisons to Jason Pierre-Paul and Za’Darius Smith.
