Photographer Steve Eichner and fiancée Daniela Kirsch planned to get married in Las Vegas and to honeymoon at Coachella. Instead, they got married at City Hall and honeymooned in their New Jersey apartment, we hear.

Local favorite Eichner — whose work has appeared in Rolling Stone and the New York Times — told Page Six, “We were probably the last group of people to get married there [before the coronavirus shutdown of the city] … We are sad that our parents couldn’t be there … It was not safe for them to travel.” They got married Friday, he said.

Eichner has a book coming out in October from a division of Penguin/Random House called “In the Limelight,” with images from the ’90s when he was the house photographer for Peter Gatien’s club empire.

The pandemic has thrown other wedding plans into chaos: Page Six previously reported that Emma Stone and “SNL” segment director Dave McCary postponed their wedding, and Eliot Spitzer and fiancée Roxana Girand pulled the plug on their plans for a blowout nuptials weekend.
