Fourteen tickets were just short of the jackpot by one number.
The next Powerball drawing will be on October 8, and the estimated jackpot will be $378 million. Those who want to win the jackpot can take $198.7 million in cash.
In August, a single ticket sold in Pennsylvania matched all six numbers to win the $206.9 million Powerball jackpot.
A $1 million ticket was bought in New Jersey for Tuesday’s Mega Millions lottery ticket drawing, though no winner was declared for the top prize.
The next drawing for the Mega Millions jackpot will be on Friday, as the prize will hit $410 million.
