Fans can now see how Khloé Kardashian reacted when she found out that Tristan Thompson had been cheating on her with Maralee Nichols.
In the season finale of "The Kardashians" on Thursday, Kim Kardashian told her sister about Thompson's paternity lawsuit, in which he admitted to sleeping with Nichols around his 30th birthday.
"F–king let me call him. I just can't believe it. Khloé told Kim over the phone, "I just want the truth." Then she broke down and cried.
"No matter what, everything will be fine," the founder of Skims told her. "Everything will be fine. We really thought he had changed, and I was his biggest fan, but if this isn't the clearest thing that could happen, I don't know what is.
Khloé, who is 37, said in a confessional that she "found out with the rest of the world" and slammed Thompson, with whom she has a daughter named True, for treating her badly and making their relationship "a lie."
“I feel not really in my own body, like these things are just happening, and I’m just going through the motions,” she said, “but when things happen to you a couple times you do kind of become immune to them, which is really sad.”
The co-founder of Good American kept telling a Hulu producer that there isn't "one thing that hurts more than the other" because "everything" Thompson, 31, did was a "act of betrayal."
"All of it is a lie. Everything is a way to get your way. It's deceit. Did Tristan have a chance to tell me everything? Yes. Tristan was going to tell me if there wasn't a baby in the picture, right? "No way, and that says a lot about who he is," Khloé replied.
“The entire thing is despicable.”
Given that the Chicago Bulls player, who doesn't appear in the episode, was able to hide an unborn baby from Khloé and the people closest to him, Khloé told Kendall Jenner over FaceTime that she thinks there are probably "a dozen other situations that just haven't outed him."
Khloé said that the fallout has made her so anxious that she became so dehydrated that she "fainted" and was given beta blockers to help her deal.
“I feel incredibly let down,” she said.
At the end of the episode, the former "Revenge Body" star packed up some of Thompson's things, since he won't be living with Khloé and True anymore.
Late in the fall of 2021, when the NBA player admitted in court papers that he had slept with fitness model Nichols and wanted a paternity test, the last two episodes were filmed. The next month, he came clean about being the father of Theo, the model's son.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” he wrote at the time. “You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”
When Khloé was pregnant with their daughter True, who is now 4, Thompson cheated on her with an Instagram model in 2018. At the time, she forgave him, but in 2019, he was caught cheating again, this time with Kylie Jenner's ex-best friend Jordyn Woods. After the Woods drama was over and they got back together, Thompson was accused of cheating on Khloé with model Sydney Chase again in January 2021.
In an earlier episode of this season of "The Kardashians," Khloé said that she and Lamar had gotten back together before Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian in October 2021.
“We’re good. We’re actually in a really good place. We just got back together. He’s been going to therapy a lot. There’s just been a lot of effort on his part,” she said, adding, “When we broke up, I learned how well him and I got along and what good friends we are and what good partners we are and I have a lot of hope and faith and optimism for our future together.”
The Nichols paternity scandal broke just months later in December 2021.
