She’s 66! Look Back at Kris Jenner’s Wild Fashion Evolution

Kris Jenner's fashion evolution, from the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' premiere party to designer tuxedos — check it out!

Cool mom alert! Kris Jenner isn’t just the ultimate momager and business mogul, she also has an uber-fabulous sense of style.

But, just like Kim Kardashian has graduated from animal-print outfits to monochromatic looks and Kylie Jenner has traded in her skinny jeans for skin-tight dresses, Kris has had a fashion evolution of her own.

While she’s gravitated toward couture creations and sleek silhouettes over the years, the 66-year-old reality star has ensured that an all-black ensemble is a constant in her closet.

At the Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiere party in Los Angeles circa 2007, Jenner killed it in a loose-fit black cocktail dress with sequin details along the hemline, sleeves and neckline. However, as the years went on, she began to adjust this trendy look in favor of something more classically tailored. Alas, the dark hue remained.

That in mind, the star’s sense of style is anything but boring. She’s always accessorizing her looks to a T, adding jewels, funky shoes and fabulous handbags to her looks. The producer also is a big fan of playing with textures and shapes, rocking a sheer Zuhair Murad dress to the Angel Ball in 2016, a satin tuxedo to the Los Angeles Ballet Gala in 2020 and a Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen and Tommy Hilfiger layered look to the 2021 Met Gala.

So, where does she get her inspo? During a Vogue Forces of Fashion panel in 2018, Jenner said that her attitude towards fashion comes from her mom, Mary Jo. “She will never walk out of the house not done from head to toe,” Kris said. “She taught me to always put my best foot forward and always look your best. In her generation that’s what women did; in the ’50s everyone dressed like Jackie O. It was so fabulous.”

Now, self-expression is something she’d like to inspire in others. “I just want to pass that down to women everywhere and remind them that we’re here because fashion is exciting, and it’s expression and fun, but I think that it makes you feel better. If you look better and doll yourself up a little bit, it helps. I have a better day if I’m trying to feel my best from the inside out.”

From the time she was just starting out in the spotlight to her years of full-blown stardom, keep scrolling to see how Kris’ sense of style has changed through the years.
