General manager Dave Gettleman said the Giants were looking for offensive linemen in the second and third round of the draft, but did not find a value that met the player.
Instead they went for a linebacker and cornerback to bolster their defense. Two offensive tackles, Walter Little (No. 45) and Jackson Carman (No. 46), were taken in the window in which the Giants were looking for offensive linemen in the second round after trading down to 50 from 42.

Look for the Giants to continue to seek out players up front, particularly a guard. They are always on the lookout for defensive linemen on Day 3, plus players who can help out on their special teams units.
