It seems like just about every week Kylie Jenner steps out in a new shade of blonde or posts a selfie in a bright-colored wig. The youngest Jenner sister just loves changing up her hair. And, honestly, we are so here for it. Her boldness as a young woman willing to experiment is empowering and beautiful.
“I first dyed my hair when I was 16,” she wrote on her website back in 2015. “I dyed it blue and I never even asked my mom. After that, I’ve just had this addiction to changing my hair. It makes me feel like a new person. I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way.”
However, she also noted that since she changes he locks up so much, they have undergone a lot of damage. That’s why she turns to her wig guru Tokyo Stylez to keep her stand’s healthy without compromising her playful style. “I’ve had to find ways to really try and take care of it and give it a rest,” she wrote. “I discovered this amazing wig guy, Tokyo, and together we create wigs. Wigs are just SO much easier because I change my mind so much and this way I’m not damaging my hair.”
